RULES and REGULATIONS
- This is an Essay Contest described as a game of skill. The Contest is "One Liners and Sayings."
Often the truth is simple. What "One Liners or Sayings" have you read or written that say the MOST in just one or two sentences? Submit that Saying, then describe in 100 words or less why this Saying provoked deep feelings and thoughts for you.
Essays will be judged on content only; format, punctuation and spelling will have no impact on the decision. Entries in excess of 100 words will be disqualified and the entrance fee will not be returned.
- Entering the contest can be done online at www.100dollarhousecontest.com. Payment are only accepted through Paypal and you can submit your essay online via email. You must include your paypal ID #, Name, address, email and phone. The $100 entry fee will be held in an account, Wabi, LLC until the contest winner is chosen.
- In the event 2000 entries are not received by July 31, 2009 we reserve the right to extend contest deadline another 90 days for 2 consecutive times, for a total of 180 days. If a minimum of 2000 entries are still not received, the entrance fee money will be split 50/50 with the top essay writer. THIS CONTEST IS VOID AND PROHIBITED FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit Feed America.
- The contest will be judged by three professionals. The judges have no vested interest in the property.
- The contest prize house is located in The Bellamah Neighborhood in Las Cruces, NM. The 2- 1/2 acre plot is in Deming, NM. If 2000 entries are not received then the prize is described above (#3)
- Contest will be presented with deed and title, debt free, within 30 days of winner being announced. If for any reason the winner does not accept the prize within 30 days in writing a first runner up will be selected.
- No guarantees or warranties of any kind concerning real property, the buildings, and any mechanical systems located at the property are being made. The property is offered "AS IS".
- By entering the contest entrants agree to release anyone associated with the contest from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss, or damage arising in any manner, from participating in the contest and /or use of the prize.
- The winner of the prize is subject to paying taxes based on its value.
- By submitting your essay to this contest, you agree to grant future permission to the owner of the contest or its employee to publish all or part of submitted essays without any royalty, payment, or consideration. We believe in the right to privacy and will not publish full names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses without your permission, with exception to the winners name.
